CincyAfterSchool Program

Beginning September 14, 2009, boys and girls in our school will now have a new place to go after school. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati is excited to announce the addition of their 9th location at Sayler Park School.

The Boys & Girls Club at Sayler Park School will open this fall for all Sayler Park students (K - 8) during afterschool hours, Monday thru Friday, 2:15-6:00 p.m. The Club will provide a free afterschool snack, free tutoring services and homework help, computer classes, health and fitness activities, games and art programs, and much, much more! Membership is free with a completed application.

“The Boys & Girls Clubs are committed to being in the communities who need us most when they need us most. In these uncertain economic times, more and more families are struggling to make ends meet and desperately need the services that the Boys & Girls Clubs provide,” shares Dara Goeke-Jenkins, Director of School Operations for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati. “Afterschool programs such as ours are critical as they help keep kids off the streets during the most dangerous time of day between 3 - 8:00 pm and focused on positive, constructive activities.”

For more information about this program, plan to attend the kickoff on September 2, 2009 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. or from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the school.

Aapplications will be available at that time.
